Our Mission Statement
Why we do what we do...
Entertainment.
Art.
Education.
Our MISSION STATEMENT is to entertain people with face painting and inspire them to do what they love.
You will see three words on the back of my T-Shirts,
Entertainment.
Art.
Education.
These three words are what I stand for (literally. I stand on the job!) I believe by setting an example, you can show people how much fulfilment you can get out of doing what you love. I’m not using the word “kids” here, even though I mostly paint kids. I use the word “people,” because often parents are watching me interact with their child. Adults are often inspired by watching me paint.
I specifically put the word “Entertainment” first. This is because when you are entertaining, people will engage with you and engagement is everything.
Then, I put the word “Art.” This is the platform I use to inspire people. I don’t always chat about art; I ask them what their interests are and chat about that.
Last, I put the word “Education.” Education is vital. But it’s not first. I believe, it needs to be nurtured. It needs a foundation of discovery, (discover your passion) and inspiration, (the want to learn) first.
It has always pained me how we expect people to retain information – I mean put it in their long-term memory – when they are not inspired. It’s not that I can’t do math. It’s that no one explained to me that I can use math in situations where I AM inspired, for example, fractions will help me learn to draw a face. I’m not good at math because I don’t practice it. I don’t like it. I’m not inspired.
So, Entertainment might just be the key to unlock everything. Art is the platform I use to encourage you to find your passion. Education is what happens naturally when you are inspired.
