FEES & PAYMENTS
1.1 Travel fees apply after 30km of Australind and will be quoted when booking.
1.2 Invoice terms are 7 days. Preferred payment is direct deposit. Credit card payments may come with a transaction fee.
1.3 Some bookings require a deposit with the balance payable on the day via direct deposit, cash or card.
1.4 Some events may incur an administration fee. This includes, but is not limited to, inductions, new creditors set up, billing requirements, event information and requirements on the day, eg: early bump in times.
SETTING UP YOUR FACE PAINTER AT YOUR EVENT
2.1 It is the responsibility of the event organizer to locate the artist under protected cover (shade, verandah, gazebo) if the event is outside.
2.2 Gazebo hire is available from SFFP, please ask for hire fee.
2.3 The artist needs to be positioned on flat ground where there are no hills or holes.
2.4 The artist requires a minimum area of 1.5m x 1.5m to work in.
2.5 The artist should be located near the guests to entertain and encourage guests to be painted.
AGREEMENT
3.1 SFFP agrees to maintain approachability and encourage guests to be painted. SFFP will advertise corporate events we are attending.
3.2 SFFP agrees to paint estimated guests in the allocated time, through appropriate time management and will provide a line management option.
3.3 If face painting goes over the agreed time, the customer will pay part thereof. SFFP will inform the customer of this before the event. If the customer does not want this, they must tell the artist to finish on time and cut the line if needed.
3.4 The event organizer agrees to provide a contact person before and during the event.
3.5 The event organizer agrees to provide a suitable space for the artist to work in, including out of the elements (wind, rain, heat, cold.)
3.6 The event organizer agrees to ensure the artist has guests to paint while distractions are in play. Distractions may include party games, bouncy castle or a playground.
3.7 The event organizer agrees to ensure the guests are always behaving well around the artist.
BOUNCY CASTLE AND WATER PLAY
4.1 Check if your bouncy castle waiver has a face painting specification.
4.2 Face paint is not waterproof and may run when a child is sweating from jumping on a bouncy castle.
4.3 Face paint is not suitable around water. Please tell SFFP if you have a pool or water play at your event, so SFFP can provide some options.
HEALTH & SAFETY
5.1 SFFP is covered by Public Liability Insurance and has a current Working with Children’s Check.
5.2 The event organizer is required to let the artist know if anyone has sensitivities or allergies.
5.3 The artist will not paint anyone who looks sick. This includes, but is not limited to, allergies, broken skin, coughing, sneezing, runny nose, rashes, red eyes etc.
5.4 SFFP provides quality control through approved products with Standards Australia (Cosmetic Standard) and FDA (Food & Drug Administration) fda.gov/cosmetics/cosmetic-products/makeup
5.5 SFFP complies with WA Work Health and Safety (Western Australia’s Work Health and Safety Act 2020) and WA Health and Safety Guidelines for Face Painters (health.wa.gov.au face and body painters)
5.6 SFFP documents, investigates, and reviews incidents. SFFP complies with notifiable/work-related incident requirements. commerce.wa.gov.au/worksafe/report/incident
PRIVACY
6.1 SFFP may take photos for private or public use. Consent will be gained from parents or individuals before using photos publicly for advertising or other purposes.
6.2 SFFP holds personal information relating to event bookings. SFFP will take reasonable steps to protect all personal information from loss or disclosure.
CANCELLATION
7.1 SFFP respectfully requests at least 48hrs notice of a booking cancellation. In the case of a booking cancellation with less than 48hrs notice of the event date, SFFP may request 25% of the scheduled service fee.
7.2 SFFP must be provided with access to a contact person for your event. In the case where SFFP cannot contact the event organiser and has reasonable belief that the event may have been cancelled or changed in some way, SFFP reserves the right to cancel the booking on the day and may request 25% of the scheduled service fee.
7.3 SFFP will protect you by not attending your event if the artist falls ill. In the case where the artist falls ill, SFFP will contact the customer and cancel the booking. SFFP will provide a full refund.
7.4 SFFP will communicate with the customer if the weather may affect face painting. In the case where the weather is not ideal for face painting, (wind, rain, heat, cold) SFFP will come to an arrangement with the customer to reduce the impact of the weather. If it is not possible to avoid the weather, SFFP reserves the right to cancel the booking on the day and will provide a full refund.
